Since 1985, Dr. Hanschu has been in her current location and has continually invested in continuing education classes to make sure that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. 

Dr. Hanschu has received training from Dr. John Kois, Dr. Frank Spear, the Pankey Institute, and CORE.  She was trained by the DOCS Institute in oral sedation dentistry and is licensed to provide this important care for patients with dental fears or who simply want to forget they were in the dental chair. In recent years she has focused her continuing education on dental implants including a one year mini residency in Roseville, CA, courses with Perio Institute, the University of Southern California School of Dentistry,  many courses offered by Straumann and Hiossen Dental Implants, and a  six month comprehensive Master Advanced Surgery course.  Dr. Hanschu has been voted a Top Dentist by her professional peers every year since 2014  surveys conducted by Sacramento Magazine. Outside of the office, she enjoys singing with Sacramento Master Singers, playing tennis, skiing, cycling, cooking, and spending time with her husband Jim.
