Dr. Hanschu graduated from the University of California, San Francisco in 1982. Prior to studying at UCSF Dental School, she attended the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with a degree in Physiology. Dr. Hanschu has been practicing for over 28 years with 25 years in her current location. Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Hanschu has kept up to date with many continuing education classes, to make sure that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. She is a board member and frequent lecturer for the Multidisciplinary Alliance for Professional Success, a group that sponsors high quality professional education for local dentists. Dr. Hanschu has taken over 150 hours of continuing education in the past two years. She is currently a member of the Spear Education Faculty Club and a Spear Study Club in Sacramento. She has received training from Dr. John Kois, Dr. Frank Spear, the Pankey Institute, CORE and has also received training in premium dentures from the Geneva Institute. Dr. Hanschu was recently voted a TOP DENTIST by her professional peers in a survey conducted by Sacramento Magazine. Outside of the office, she enjoys singing with the Sacramento Master Singers, tennis, skiing, cycling, cooking and spending time with her husband, Jim.
